  • Andrew Bowman

    Andrew Bowman

    Chief Executive Officer
  • Jupiter Power’s Chief Executive Officer, Andy Bowman, has been a clean energy entrepreneur since the 1990s. Bowman participated in some of the first utility-scale wind, then solar, and now energy storage projects ever financed in the U.S., and has started and led several successful energy companies.

    Bowman founded Jupiter in 2017 and has guided the company from idea, to  start-up, to leading energy storage IPP.  Bowman was previously CEO and founder of Pioneer Green Energy LLC (2009-15), Chief Development Officer at E.ON Climate & Renewables North America (2007-2009), Senior Vice President of Development at Airtricity (2004-2007), and CEO and founder of Renewable Generation, Inc. (2001-2004).   

    Bowman is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, the LBJ School of Public Affairs and Yale University and is author of the 2023 book The West Texas Power Plant That Saved the World.   

  • Jesse Campbell

    Chief Financial Officer
  • Jesse Campbell, an accomplished financial executive with over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, joined Jupiter Power as Chief Financial Officer in 2024. Before starting his current role, Campbell held significant positions in renowned energy companies.     

    Previously, Campbell was the Executive Vice President and Corporate Controller at Invenergy. During his time there, Campbell led all financial operations functions and contributed to the company’s strategic direction. Before joining Invenergy, Campbell served as Chief Financial Officer at Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation (SWECO), where he led all North American finance, HR, and IT functions. Campbell’s journey in the renewable energy sector began at E.ON Climate & Renewables, where he spent 6.5 years and held various roles in finance, strategic planning, and business development. His last role at E.ON was Director of Business Development, where he contributed significantly to the company’s growth initiatives.    

    Before delving into the renewable energy sector, Campbell gained valuable experience as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Chicago. Campbell is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in Illinois with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University.  

  • Laura Wellborn

    Chief Revenue Officer
  • Laura Wellborn has more than 15 years’ experience in the power business, including unique expertise in trading, energy price forecasting and market rules and regulations. Wellborn has led Jupiter Power’s trading activities since before the Company’s first assets came online in 2021, making her one of the most experienced traders of energy storage systems in the U.S.  

    As CRO, Wellborn oversees Jupiter Power’s Market Operations team, which manages all the Company’s dispatch and scheduling decision-making and its Qualified Scheduling Entity.  She is also responsible for Jupiter’s innovative Data Science and Analytics teams, which constitute some of the Company’s most unique capabilities.   

    Wellborn holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematical Sciences from Texas A&M University.   

  • Jack Godshall

    Jack Godshall

    Chief Operating Officer
  • Jack Godshall is co-founder, Chief Operating Officer and board member at Jupiter Power, overseeing the company’s Commercial, Development, Transmission and Asset Management teams. Over his twenty years in infrastructure and energy, Godshall has been a power industry leader with a long track record of innovative projects including over 13,500 MW of energy storage, wind, solar and natural gas to date.

    Before joining Jupiter, Godshall led several business units at Invenergy as a member of the management team. He formed and led the company’s first Origination group which targeted clean energy demand growth, resulting in several years of industry-leading wind and solar contracts. Godshall also led M&A and strategic planning, significantly increasing the company’s build plan through acquisitions and partnerships in the U.S. and Europe.

    Godshall holds a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

  • Lexie Worley

    Lexie Worley

    Chief Legal Officer
  • With over fifteen years of experience in energy legal and related matters, Worley brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Jupiter’s Chief Legal Officer. Worley oversees the Company’s Legal, Compliance and Corporate teams and advises the senior team on all major decisions and strategic transactions. In this role, she has led legal work supporting Jupiter’s major equipment procurements, M&A transactions, project and tax equity financings and growth investment, including the company’s acquisition by BlackRock’s Diversified Infrastructure business in 2022.

    Prior to joining the company, Worley served as Legal Counsel at Equinor, advising its U.S. businesses on regulatory compliance, environmental, acquisitions and divestitures, corporate governance, exploration and production operations, among other matters. As a former Associate Attorney at Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff, and Miller, LLP, she was responsible for complex due diligence reviews, representation of energy clients in mergers and acquisitions, and energy litigation.

    In 2022, Worley was recognized as a Women in Energy honoree in the annual Texas Lawyer Awards. Worley obtained her bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006 and her Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2011.

  • Michael Geier

    Michael Geier

    Chief Technology Officer
  • Michael Geier, Jupiter Power’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), boasts over a decade of experience in the battery storage industry, spanning various domains such as Research and Development, manufacturing, utility-scale project development, construction, operation, and wholesale market participation. Geier has spearheaded developing, engineering, and contracting over 12 GWh of energy storage projects across North America.   

    Geier’s first role in the storage sector began with Invenergy’s storage engineering team in 2016. Geier then transitioned to E.ON, departing in 2019 as their Energy Storage Technical Team Lead. He began his new role with Jupiter in 2020, initially as Director of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) before being promoted to CTO in 2021.  

    Geier’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley in 2008, followed by a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from Northwestern University in 2016.
